About The Role
Temporary contract role within packaging department, predominately focused on kegging. Role will include keg filling, handling sorting and palletizing on a 3 shift pattern, 40 hours per week, over a 3 month period.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure health and safety standards are met both personally and amongst all members of the shift team. Showing a proactive attitude towards creating a safe working environment. Operating kegging machinery safely and efficiently. Learning various tasks relating to keg labelling, organization and sorting. Assisting with running packaging machines on high speed canning and bottle lines as required. Helping with any cleaning tasks required during shift.
Additional Responsibilities
Assisting with any reasonable request made by management. Ability to think independently and solve problems. Enjoys working as part of a team. Understanding of plant and machinery. Capable of manual handling for prolonged periods.Mandated Requirements
To work safely and follow the training and instruction given, wearing the required PPE at all times. To work in accordance with site hygiene requirements and approved working procedures. To understand the impact of activities carried out as part of the job on beer safety management system and quality of the products. To be aware of business beer safety and quality objectives, QHSE policy and implications of not conforming to Food Safety Management System requirements.
