Job summary

The successful applicant will be working in a large coastal practice which is forward thinking and Clinical staff and Management are well established and extremely supportive.

The surgery is proactive rather than reactive so we would expect the appointed candidate to be innovative and enterprising.

You will need to be autonomous but also be able to take direction.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve undertaking clinical medication reviews to proactively manage patients with complex poly-pharmacy.

You will be available to provide support to General Practice staff with regards to medications and prescription queries, medicines reconciliation, overseeing the repeat prescription reauthorisation process, ensuring patients have appropriate monitoring tests in place etc
