Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons to primary and secondary school students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages academic growth and personal development.
  • Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular initiatives and projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends and developments in the field of geography.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in geography or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience teaching geography at the primary or secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
