How you’ll change it up

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing procurement department instilling broader procurement and contract management strategies for Group Services. You will be sourcing goods and services across several 3rd party suppliers as well as managing existing contracts.

Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Managing supplier performance against spend and delivery
  • Negotiate clear, robust and favourable terms for CityFibre against contractual and commercial frameworks
  • Identifying new suppliers for the purpose of; cost savings, risk mitigation and to ensure a robust supply chain
  • Qualification, review and onboarding of new suppliers in line with CityFibre’s compliance and selection criteria

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll be experienced in the procurement of direct and/or indirect services with a sound and logical mindset to contract negotiation and deliver, and the ability to foster excellent internal and external relationships for the benefit of CityFibre’s supply chain.

You’ll also bring the following with you:

  • Previous experience of the tender process from beginning to end
  • Having had exposure to supplier selection through a tender process
  • Vendor management in both risk mitigation and KPI review meetings
