About You
We are looking to recruit an individual who has extensive experience of managing apartment build programmes and managing key KPIs across a number of sites in West Sussex. You will have the ability to lead and influence at all levels, a successful proven track record of delivering outstanding results and a proactive approach to risk management and health and safety leadership.
To be successful in the role you will already be in a senior operational site role and have experience in successfully managing project teams and must possess excellent project/programme management skills and have commercial awareness appropriate for the level of the role.
As Contracts Manager you will possess the ability to identify project risk (escalating where appropriate) and could effectively work through the issue, utilising resources at your disposal to ensure the risk is thoroughly understood and mitigated so as not to cause financial, programme or reputation damage to the business, providing exemplar leadership.
The Role

Reporting to the Construction Director, to oversee the week-to-week management of a number of sites, supporting site management and maintaining a flow of information between all Divisional departments and site. Key focus should be on achieving targets in health and safety, quality, customers care and cost, including all associated pre and post building works.
The postholder will initially be responsible for managing sites across West Sussex and attend the weekly Construction meeting in the Divisional Head Office in Ringwood, Dorset.

You will have:
A relevant construction, trade or professional qualification such as HNC/HND in building, construction related degree, NHBC Accreditation Programme or similar. Ideally have or working towards Contracts Manager NVQ5 In-depth knowledge of all aspects of construction and housebuilding and the relevant legislative requirements e.g. health and safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations Under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) the Contracts Manager will require a black Manager CSCS Card. Hold 5 days SMSTS certificate and First AidYou will bring:
