Job Description

Mould shop fitter/ Machinist is responsible for inspections, repairs, adjustments and maintenance of mould kit and related equipment. You also will be involved in machining tasks on manual/ CNC lathes and milling machines.

You should have:

Experience in machining parts using lathes and milling machines (CNC experience will be beneficial but full training will be provided) Experience utilizing hand and power tools, including but not limited to grinder, drill press, caliper, micrometer, protractor, gauges, wrenches, chisels, files and scrapers

You will:

Inspect all mould parts and repair back to spec Carry out machining tasks using mastercam

Lays out work, makes set-ups, operates shop floor equipment and machine tools to repair or make required parts

Qualifications

Time served in a mechanical engineering discipline
