Backwell, United Kingdom Butcombe Brewery Full time

We are a bold, award-winning business who pride
ourselves in giving our chefs the freedom to create premium, seasonal menus
that ‘wow’ our customers within an industry-leading environment.  We run friendly, welcoming, and positive
kitchens with high standards; always striving to be the best we can be.

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join the family.

Located in historic Backwell on the outskirts of Bristol and a short drive from Weston-super-Mare, The Rising Sun is a beautiful pub and inn, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We’re passionate about great food and drink, with an all-day food offer focused on seasonal, locally sourced produce and hearty pub classics. Behind the bar you’ll find plenty of award-winning Butcombe beer and cider, and a wide range of wine and cocktails.

With 6 ensuite bedrooms, The Rising Sun is the ideal location for a rural retreat, family break or staycation, and exploring nearby Bristol and the surrounding Somerset countryside, with Bristol Airport just 3 miles away.

A haven for families, walkers, cyclists and locals alike, The Rising Sun offers a huge beer garden with children’s play area, and large carpark.

The Rising Sun is dog-friendly, child-friendly, and perfectly positioned for visits to attractions such as the Mendips AONB, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, and the North Somerset coast.
