Minibus Chaperone

Passenger Transport Escort/Minibus Chaperones for our daily services from Derwent Valley (Shotley Bridge) and Wearside (East Herrington)   Newcastle High School for Girls, Tankerville Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 3BA   We have two vacancies available to start from September 2024   Salary: £13.56 per hour Working hours: Approximately 13-18 hours per week - split shift. Approx. 7.15 a.m. - 8.45 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. - 5.15 p.m. term time only (176 days per year)   Ad hoc additional hours may also be available from time to time   We are seeking to appoint two Passenger Transport Escorts/Minibus Chaperones to support our daily chaperoned bus services from the Derwent Valley (starting/ending in Shotley Bridge) and Wearside (starting/ending in East Herrington). Ideally, we are looking for candidates who reside in or around these areas, however, this is not an essential requirement and applicants from other locations will be considered.  Safeguarding, paediatric first aid and other pastoral care training will be provided, where necessary. Additional hours supporting school activities and holiday clubs throughout the year may also be available on either a regular or ad hoc basis.   About the School   NHSG is the leading independent girls' school in the North East.
