An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wethersfield Asylum Site Lead in Mid Essex Alliance. As part of the Alliance team, you will promote a culture of innovation and integration across partners and work with local communities to deliver the health needs of resident of the Wethersfield Asylum Site.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and conscientious individual, who will develop strong partnerships within our communities in order to identify opportunities for collaboration and innovation. An ability to work effectively and creatively with a range of partners is therefore vital to this role, along with the ability to translate ideas into clear plans that deliver change.

Main duties of the job

Within defined work areas/localities:

Responsible for supporting the Alliance Director and Deputy Alliance Director in delivering the core functions of the ICB and delivering National standards- Governance, assurance and oversight, performance, and quality of local services for the Wethersfield Asylum Site Understand the priorities and challenges of partners, in particular Local Authorities and local voluntary sectors organisations in relation for the Wethersfield Asylum Site Establish, nurture and promote relationships with and between all partners, ensuring a broad and robust network that enables meaningful collaboration, integration of care and optimisation of outcomes at a local level Responsible for the oversight of delivery of workstreams, outcomes and objectives for the Wethersfield Asylum Site Work closely with partners, in particular local authority public health teams, to identify appropriate interventions to address the health needs of residents on the Wethersfield Asylum Site Support the expansion of the site Convene workshops, working groups and training sessions as required Interface between health partners and Home Office colleagues on all issues relating to the Wethersfield Asylum Site Ensure safe practice implementation on site Work with partners in using a range of project management tools, outcome measures and reports to plan, monitor and report on progress to peers and senior colleagues, proactively escalating risks where appropriate and implementing solutions

Mid and South Essex ICB is a statutory organisation responsible for the planning and delivery of local health and care services, across Mid and South Essex and is part of the wider integrated care system. Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) are partnerships of health and care organisations that come together to plan and deliver joined up services and to improve the health of people who live and work in their area. The headquarters for the organisation is Phoenix Court, Basildon, but there is a hybrid model of working, which includes working across Mid and South Essex and home working.

ROLE PURPOSE / SUMMARY

The Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System will comprise the Integrated Care Board (ICB), which is the statutory body for the NHS, and the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP), which is a committee of the ICB, and brings together key health, care, community and voluntary sector organisations across the area.

The ICS has a bold ambition to deliver improved outcomes for our population through our four Alliances, and we are placing clinical and professional leadership and the voice of our residents at the heart of realizing this ambition.

The postholder will be a senior manager within the Alliance-based team, who will work in partnership with local communities and partners to support the health and wellbeing of residents on the Wethersfield Asylum Site. They will be responsible for working with the Alliance Director and Deputy Alliance Director, as well as senior Alliance partners.

The role will be responsibility for embedding a culture of collaborative innovation and integration across partners, including residents. The role will lead on developing alliance partnerships to define and deliver objectives specific to the health needs of those on the Wethersfield Asylum Site, ensuring potential for optimisation of outcomes is maximized wherever opportunity arises. Although the postholder will be based within an Alliance team, they will work closely and collaboratively with all teams across the ICB as needed.

The postholder will be a dynamic, motivated individual who is a self-starter, able to adapt to new strategies, ideas and ways of working as they enable delivery of the ICB ambitions.
