Job overview
Working Full Time hours: 37.5 per week
The post holder will ensure that the standard project management methodologies are applied in accordance with industry best practice, i.e. provide high quality support in developing, maintaining and managing various dashboards, logs, plans, reports and other tools in accordance with a control methodology.
A key function of the role is to support the delivery of the programmes and projects, as well as highlighting testing and challenging where necessary and escalating risks, issues and obstacles to the Executive Sponsor and overall Programme Lead when required, including development of any recovery plans.
Main duties of the job
Providing specialised programme and project management support for transformation projects involving partners across the system and in particular enabling integration of actions by health and localauthority partners and projects to reduce health inequalities.Maintaining consistency in PMO processes and monitoring progress on all the associated COCH programmes, ensuring robust regular reports to be delivered to a range of committees and Executive
sponsors.Facilitate and co-ordinate the development of highly complex, sometimes overlapping, and specialised COCH programmes and projects in conjunction with PMO Project Managers, Management Teams, Operational and Clinical Leads, Directors and Executive Sponsors, to develop and enhance the range of services, level of care and health outcomes provided by the West Kent system as a whole. Facilitate joint workstream methodologies and reporting to ensure that any efficiencies and/or benefits are allocated correctly.
