Front of house

Scole Inn Hotel is seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our team as a Front of House. As the face of our establishment, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.

• Greeting guests and providing them with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival
• Checking guests in and out, processing payments, and issuing keys
• Assisting guests with inquiries, reservations, and providing helpful information about the local area
• Managing guest requests and ensuring they are promptly addressed and resolved
• Maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby area, ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies
• Coordinating with housekeeping to ensure timely room availability and cleanliness
• Collaborating with other departments, such as food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests of all backgrounds
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of reservation systems and MS Office
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of local attractions and amenities is a plus
