About me:
I am 56-year-old lady living in Lower Cambourne, I have chronic fatigue which I describe as a brain fog, my children have been supporting me for many years.  I have the following diagnoses: fibromyalgia, metabolic syndrome, sleep disorder, chronic fatigue, asthma, arthritis in my hands, and hearing loss. I experienced a heart attack in 2013 and cancer in 2016. I am also borderline malnourished due to a condition that leaves me feeling nauseous during each meal which can result in regular vomiting.


 Hours and Rate of Pay:
10 hours per week @ £11.44 per hour. Days/times can be discussed – I am flexible and willing to negotiate The post will include 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro-rata) Enhanced DBS check will be required.


 What you would be doing:
Support me to shower when I choose (depending on my fatigue).  Apply body creams with instructions. Prepare and serve a healthy nutritious diet. Simple household tasks, e.g. washing up, cleaning worktops, cleaning bathroom after use. Occasional admin tasks. Attend appointments with me. Establish a close working relationship on a one-to-one basis and discuss and resolve problems as they arise. Needs may vary on a daily basis, therefore hours, duties and tasks may alter from the care plan.


 The person I would like:
Someone who enjoys being active, who has the skills to give me support with building my confidence & self esteem & promoting my independence. Be hardworking, reliable, committed, honest, and trustworthy with a cheerful a sense of humour. Some knowledge and experience with working with people with health conditions would be useful but not essential. In return you will have the opportunity to practice your skills, keep up to date with professional development as training will be provided. I have one fostered dog and one cat – both well behaved.
