We are recruiting for a Procurement Administrator to join the Team based out of our Addlestone Office in Surrey on a full time and permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement of materials and sub-contract works for all new installations, including all necessary safety, workwear and tooling equipment, in line with the budget and installation program. It will manage the provision of delivery dates in a timely manner and expedition of orders required to support Field Operations. S/he would have direct input into the P2P process and assist in the development of procurement initiatives to target both cost savings and procedural efficiencies.
Duties & Responsibilites:
Ordering of Group and local parts for New Installation and Modernisation Division within approved supply base and agreed SLA Order creation for Sub-Contract works on site, in accordance with Quote Approval process Procurement of PPE/Workwear and tooling Run regular Order Confirmation report and follow up missing entries Expedite urgent deliveries with supply chain/logistics providers Supporting Field Ops with obtaining material offers for Group materials using Offer Tool Identifying new and alternative sources of supply for products Manage the invoicing workflows to ensure goods/services have been received and allow for timely payment Act as Key User for the procurement functionality within SPN Project Management tool, and provide training to new users Identify and help implement process improvement opportunities in the procurement systems Initiating and supporting on-going cost cutting initiatives to help meet the budgeted Savings Plan Support in the testing of new Procurement tools, and promoting a continuous improvement mindset Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships, including contributing in regular meetings with stakeholders Undertake cross-training to help provide temporary cover for other roles in the team Any ad-hoc projects / duties as defined by your line manager. Employees will be required to contribute to the Company safety objectives, where necessary by maintaining/monitoring current safety systems under their direct control and implementing agreed changes (where applicable) to Schindler Ltd occupational health and safety management systemCandidate Requirements:
Educated to Degree level or equivalent with demonstrated track record of success in procurement activities, preferably within the Engineering/ Construction environment Previous experience in the disciplines of Construction or Logistics would be an advantage Strong Presentation skills Supply Chain experience Good working knowledge of Excel SAP experience in Procurement (MM or SD modules) would be desirable Creation of Standard Operating Procedures, process documentation and training materials Focused with strong attention to detail A versatlie Team Player with strong interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and according to business need-
