We are looking for aUtility Arb Surveyor to support theContract Delivery Manager (CDM) in providing the necessary surveyedwork volumes for an assigned programme of tree works in Colchesterand the surrounding area. You will take responsibility for drivingyour own allocated survey programme and ensure KPI targets aremet.

This is a fieldbased role with approximately4 days in the field surveying and consenting and 1 day based athome.

You will ensure your works is completed tothe highest possible standards in terms of safety environmentquality customer service and profitability. Drive consistency andinnovation through everything you do to ensure Ground Control arethe best at what we do.

What youwillachieve;

• Successfulundertaking and completion of all Utility Arb surveying projectsallocated.
• Providing a highquality level ofproject surveys and landowner consents to drive best value formoney for both the Client and GroundControl.
• Satisfactorily resolve all landownerconsenting queries and follow ups asrequired.
• Participate in resolving any heldupspans that need client resolution to obtainconsent.
• Assist PM team in identification andresolution of any SSSI Sites TPOs or conservation areas that fallwithin the scope/programme area.
• Achieve a highlevel of safety awareness and ensure reporting of HSQEevents/issues found on sites.
• Participate intraining/shadow events covering Project Delivery TrackingCoordination Commercial Management and Supply Chain Management asrequired to eventually progress within yourrole.

Who are welooking for

This role is ideal forsomeone who has a solid arb background and now wants to move offthe tools and into a surveying focused role. Alternatively if youalready have experience within any type of arb surveying alreadythis would be highly beneficial.

• Practiced and strong negotiationand influencing skills.
• Proficient andcompetent IT.
• Welldeveloped selfmanagement andorganisational skills.
• Ability to work on yourown initiative.
