What you’ll do You will be responsible for carrying out any repair or rectifying any maintenance issues throughout the hotel as and when they arise You will respond to and attend to guest repair requests You will perform preventative maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical equipment You will be an excellent communicator and build excellent relationships with departments across the hotel Report on any new or developing engineering works that need to be addressed to the Engineering Manager Assist with maintaining the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical, mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc Assist with energy saving and green initiatives within the hotel Assist with inventory organisation and ordering What we’re looking for A warm, people-oriented demeanor A team-first attitude A gift for paying attention to the smallest details Experience in a similar role A plumbing or electrical qualification is an advantage but not compulsory Perks you deserve In addition to an hourly rate of £ ensuring you are paid for every hour worked, we’ll support you in and out of the workplace by offering: Meals - Tasty and Varied Meals in our Associate Dining Facility Uniform & dry-cleaning service Pension - entitlement if qualifying earnings are met Training - Statutory and on-the job Training program Pay - Minimum wage review and increase With this role you will be working on a casual basis, we can offer hours when available – giving you the flexibility we all need in our life If this sounds like the perfect role for you apply online or email
