Overnight Cleaning Supervisor

Overall aim of the role:

The Overnight Cleaning Supervisor will lead and set an example of high standards of cleaning and productivity at all times. You will assist the Overnight Cleaning Manager in ensuring the facilities are kept to the highest possible standard and lead the team in the Overnight Cleaning Managers absence. You will work positively and proactively amongst the team to help create a good working environment.

What you’ll do:

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a pristine and hygienic environment.
• Support the Overnight Cleaning Manager in supervising and coordinating the activities of the overnight cleaning staff to ensure all tasks are carried out to a high standard.
• Train and mentor cleaning staff on correct techniques, equipment usage, and health & safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to evaluate the cleanliness of all areas, including treatment rooms, pool areas, and changing facilities.
• To confidently handle staff issues on shift, as appropriate, and escalate issues to management when required.
• The role includes some heavy lifting and use of machinery & chemicals, training will be provided.

Who you’ll be:

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a hospitality or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning practices, chemicals, and equipment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and other team members.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Able to speak Nepalese and English (desirable).
