The Cyber Security Manager will work alongside the Head of Information Security and IT teams to take responsibility for technical security, managing the Security Operations and Engineering team to provide and manage Group wide security solutions and services.

The role requires a seasoned security professional with ample experience, including hands-on experience, and in-depth understanding of security.

Responsibilities:

•Management of the Security Operations and Engineering team
•Management of security products, solutions and services.
•Ensuring security controls meet regulatory standards and are operating effectively.
•Management of penetration testing activities.
•Monitoring Marex infrastructure, including Cloud, for potential weaknesses and security breaches. It covers aspects, such as:
oEnd point security;
oSIEM;
oCloud security;
oVulnerability Management; or
oOverview of Firewall configuration and rules.

•Working with external partners to ensure excellent level of service.
•Assessment and management of technology related risks.

Skills and Experience


•A minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of security.
•Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver and manage security solutions and services.
•Self-motivated and able to identify technical risks.
•Comprehensive security knowledge and technical expertise.
•Quick learner with ability to provide security advice on new technologies.
•Understanding of techniques and technologies used by threat actors.
•Hands-on experience in delivering and automating security solutions.
•Ability to effectively communicate complex information and ideas to a variety of audiences, using clear and concise language, visual aids, and engaging delivery techniques.
