About the role

The successful applicant will act as Policy Adviser for the project as part of the Gender and Tech Research Group, alongside projects focused on Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Technologies and Semiconductors and other critical technologies. This will include developing policy engagement strategies, drafting influential policy briefs and reports, managing and nurturing stakeholder relationships and delivering engaging events that bring policy makers and academics closer together.

About you

The post holder will have substantial experience working in or with the UK policy community, and experience engaging and influencing UK-based policy makers. To understand the policy landscape and be able to develop and implement strategic policy engagement plans is important. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is stakeholder management and experience of project management and administration in a complex environment.
