Nursery Teaching Assistant

Location: Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire

Salary: £70 - £95 per day

Contract: Full Time, Temporary

GSL Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our team in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about supporting the early development and learning of young children.

About the Role:

  • Assist the nursery teacher in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 3-4 years.
  • Support children's learning through a range of activities, both indoor and outdoor, that promote their physical, social, and cognitive development.
  • Help with the planning and preparation of engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive nursery environment.
  • Promote good behavior and social skills, encouraging independence and self-confidence in the children.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • A caring and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
