Freight Operations Agent - Camberley

Right Now Group are working with a Neutral Freight Forwarder, who are looking to bring aboard a new Freight Operations Agent to join their Import/Export team in Camberley.

You'll be working as part of a team liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders and clients to ensure the highest level of service in the Airfreight department. The ideal candidate will ideally have customer service and/or sales experience within the Cargo and Freight Industry.

Responsibilities of an Freight Operations Agent:

  • Dealing with client bookings and enquires via telephone / email
  • Ensure all relevant documentation for Imports/Exports is in place and correct.
  • Arranging deliveries and collections via external suppliers.
  • Handle pricing and estimation for consignments.
  • Cutting Master and House Airway Bills.
  • Liaising with handling agents and external suppliers.
  • Dealing with airlines and making bookings.
  • Ensure all customs information is in place, and perform customs entries.
