About the role and practice
At Hay-on-Wye Dental Centre we can provide our patients with a comprehensive range of treatments in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our aim is to help patients achieve and maintain excellent dental health for life.
Every member of our team has made a personal commitment to working to nationally agreed standards to enable us to provide a quality service. We undertake continuing professional development to ensure that we keep abreast of rapidly changing techniques and materials.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.
If you are looking to work in a positive and friendly team environment, with supportive and highly skilled clinicians, and where you can begin your career in Dental Nursing, then this is the practice for you.
- 32 hours over 4 days
- Typical shifts are Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:30, with an unpaid 1 hour lunch break per day
About you
We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
- Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
