Job description

We are looking for a motivated, passionate and skilled Inclusion Hub Teacher to join our Inclusion Service team. The successful candidate will be initially deployed to an Academy in Derby but can be deployed in any of our academies across the Derby Hub.
Our Vision and Values
The Harmony Trust has the highest aspirations for its pupils, parents and staff members. Our vision is to provide an excellent primary education so that every academy is a ‘GreatPlace2Learn.’ Our aim is to ensure that children at our academies enjoy the best education from the early years to the end of the primary stage. Parents are very important to achieving this vision and we aim to work in partnership with them to ensure that all our children achieve our motto: ‘Believe Achieve Succeed’. We believe that school should be a place where every child makes progress in a safe and supportive environment. We believe in the importance of children developing well-being and high self-esteem if they are to learn and do well.
We also believe in The Harmony Trust being a ‘GreatPlace2Work’ where staff are supported to thrive by a trust that is committed to learning and education. We have a great team of people working in our Academies. We aim to retain them by investing in professional development, offering opportunities to work across the Trust ensuring Harmony is a great place to work.

The successful candidate will share our vision and values and be committed to Inclusion; ensuring our staff, pupils and families meet their potential. They will have strong knowledge as to how to meet the needs of children with Special Educational Needs.
Our aim is to build capacity across our academies so that we can effectively meet the needs of our children while enabling staff to develop specialism and expertise.
The post holder would be deployed into our Derby Hub and will work in person in our Derby Academies. They will have the opportunity to influence and shape practice across both our Derby Hub and wider across the Trust through the use of technology and as part of the Inclusion Service Team.
The post would suit a candidate who is looking for a challenging but rewarding opportunity.
