We are looking for a  Senior Management Accountant  to join us at  Huws Gray Oxford

This role is currently being advertised for our offices in Llangefni & Oxford, and can accomodate the suitable candidate at either location.

We rely on our Senior Management Accountants for the preparation, development and improvement of financial and management reporting, including managment accounts preparation and general ledger tasks. Working in one of our Central Support functions, you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant service and to get the job done.

Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a  Senior Management Accountant  with Huws Gray:

Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts for the business down to division and branch level within tight deadlines Allocation of costs across multiple divisions and branches to ensure accurate cost centre income/charges Maintain rigorous and robust balance sheet control reconciliations Preparation and processing of monthly journals (inc prepayments and accruals) Supporting the wider Finance team and the operations of the business – collaborating to ensure that financial information is accurate and complete Building and maintaining an excellent relationship with stakeholders and colleagues and to support multi-site operations teams with ad hoc requests Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts records and spreadsheets Assist with financial queries and help improve processes to improve understanding of costs and reduce the number of queries Complete variance analysis on financial performance of costs against budget, prior year etc and provide regular updates to management Deputise for the finance manager as and when required. Identify and recommend areas for continuous development, and work with teams outside of finance to implement the necessary changes Developing and coaching junior members of the teams Other duties as required
