Job summary

We are looking for a Palliative Care Assistant (HCA) to join our inpatients unit at Compton Hall in Wolverhampton

Main duties of the job

As a Palliative Care Assistant, you will provide accessible, innovative, and influential care for people living with complex and incurable conditions in our communities as well as supporting their families and carers. You will participate in delivering healthcare to patients and providing emotional and psychological support, working in partnership with the patient and in collaboration with internal colleagues and the external health community. We are seeking a candidate that can demonstrate experience of providing care in a health or social setting and who has an NVQ level 2 in care or equivalent. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to be compassionate and sensitive towards our service users and colleagues.
