This role is ideal if youarea fully qualified Practice Accountant with a background in auditwho is ideally looking to make their first move to Industry. Youwill utilise your technical knowledge to assist with the controlsand processes being implemented across the Finance team and thewider organisation making a noticeable difference in your role fromday one.

You could expect tohelp train the morejunior members of the Finance team and partner with the Group FCand CFO to assist with monthend preparation ad hoc project workimprovement of internal financial controls and to make a realimpact in the future growth of the organisation. Overall your focuswill be to upskill the team ensuring we are audit ready YOY acrossof Group structure whichincludes:

  • Global retail ofmarket leading beauty products
  • Internationalprocurement and supply chain
  • Internationalwarehouse operations
  • Luxury property/villarentals
  • LuxurySpa/salon

In this role you couldexpect to:

  • Managetransactional activities across the Group including accountsreceivables payables and stock ensuring accuracy and timelyprocessing with a focus on automation throughNetsuite.
  • Train and support team members inrecording and reconciling transactions maintaining high standardsfor accuracy and timeliness.
  • Strengtheninternal controls across finance and the wider business to ensureintegrity completeness and timeliness of reportedfigures.
  • Conduct P&L balance sheet andcash flow analysis providing insights on future business impact andpreparing monthly Group reports budgets andforecasts.
  • Support yearend accounts and auditsperform internal control audits and lead ad hoc projects forimproved efficiency andcosteffectiveness.

This role is hybrid2 days a week onsite at our BrightonHQ.

Aboutyou:

You must haverecently gained your full chartered Accountant qualification(ACA/ACCA) or equivalent and have a comprehensive understanding offinancial accounting within FMCG retail marketing or mediathroughout your years in practice. We think youll alsoneed:

  • Strongexperience in inventory management.
  • Expertisein balance sheet reconciliations (e.g. VAT payroll intercompanybalances).
  • Proven ability to train and manageand/or mentor a team.
  • Personable with a knackfor building relationships across thebusiness.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite (notessential).
  • A desire to drive continuousimprovement within the Finance team increasing capabilities andsystem functions to support the wholeGroup.
