Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Third Grade Teacher to join our team for the 2024-25 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elementary education, a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and the ability to inspire and engage students.

Responsibilities:

– Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
– Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
– Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
– Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and policies
– Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
– Valid teaching certification for the state of Michigan
– Experience as an elementary school teacher preferred
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– A passion for teaching and the ability to create a positive, engaging educational environment
