As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated MET Technician to join our dynamic team at our Borehamwood site.
Role Overview
As an MET Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring vehicles are repaired to the highest standards, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and trim components. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing damaged parts to restore vehicles to their original condition.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all MET repairs in line with company standards. Diagnose faults and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and trim components. Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for body repairs. Ensure all work is completed within the designated time frame. Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure seamless service delivery. Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as an MET Technician in the automotive repair industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and trim components in vehicles. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Relevant qualifications in automotive repair or MET (., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
