We are currently looking for a Bank Domestic Assistant at Beech House in Thornbury.

Bristol Care Homes is a group of four nursing homes in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Responsibilities and duties for the Domestic Assistant role are:

  • To comply with Bristol Care Homes policies and procedures
  • Undertaking general cleaning duties around the home.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the home to the required standard
  • Carrying out cleaning and deep cleaning tasks
  • Ensuring correct cloths & chemicals are used for each job
  • Being aware of regulations regarding handling chemicals
  • Disposing of rubbish in the appropriate place
  • Attending COSHH, manual handling and other training

Hours of work:

  • Will include working every other weekend as per rota

Pay:

As an employee (Age 21 years +) you will earn

· Salary: £12.00 per hour

· 10% enhancements for any weekend hours

· 50% extra pay on Bank Holidays
