The PWR team at Teaching Personnel are working closely with an Academy in Heywood to recruit a Teacher of Technology.

Position: Teacher of Technology
Salary: Main Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS)
Start Date: September 2024
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

We are looking for a proactive and resilient Teacher of Technology to join this school, which opened its doors in September 2021.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Teach the Technology curriculum with enthusiasm and dedication
  • Adapt to the broader interests of the school beyond subject-specific duties
  • Engage students in a curriculum enriched with memorable experiences and rich learning opportunities

This is an exciting opportunity as the school is expanding, currently accommodating 480 students across Years 7, 8, and 9. The school has recently moved into a modern, state-of-the-art building with stunning views of the local countryside and easy access to several motorway links.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
