Splashing into FriendshipWe support a Lady with a learning disability in Mencap’s shared house in Harlow who loves getting out and about.
She’s a happy go lucky lady who loves nothing more than getting out in the community. She loves to go swimming, have leisurely walks and to go Line dancing at the local community centre.
As well as sharing these interests you’d be supporting her social life by spending time together.
As a volunteer, you would not need to be an expert, but if you share her interests then you can make a difference.
As a volunteer, you can have the opportunity to share your ideas, you all can benefit in learning from each other. Being a volunteer can really make a difference.
