Secondary School Maths Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to work in a Secondary School in the Swansea region. The role will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 level pupils. This role is to start in the next academic year (September 2024). If you feel you are the perfect fit for this role, we would love to hear from you

Role of a Maths Teacher:

  • Planning and preparing lessons, schemes of work and assessment material
  • Teaching pupils according to their educational needs, pupils assigned to allocated classes, teaching literacy and numeracy skills as appropriate
  • Ensuring positive behaviour management in accordance with school policies
  • Contributing to departmental meetings, discussions and management systems
  • Fostering strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

We are looking for a candidate who can display the following:

  • Be an excellent classroom teacher
  • Be able to inspire and motivate students
  • Have high expectations of students’ achievements and attitudes
  • Be able to teach Maths in KS3 & KS4
  • Be committed to students, with the belief that education can drive growth in young people
