What is the Programme?

Its for 2 years. As a Development Graduate, you will participate in a dynamic two-year programme consisting of four rotations, each lasting six months. These rotations will provide exposure to a diverse range of projects across the business.

Each rotation will focus on a specific business challenge and contribute to the development of solutions to address them. These may involve process improvements, people management initiatives, or capital investment in system or infrastructure. Throughout the programme, you'll collaborate closely with a wide range of colleagues across many different areas of the business to support the development and execution of strategic projects within a structured project governance framework. You will also work with teams in Construction, Engineering, and IT who will lead the delivery of these projects.

Projects will span key business areas, offering you the opportunity to gain broad experience at London Gatwick. This could include involvement in growth initiatives, sustainability projects, commercial opportunities, or operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Expect variety and a hands-on approach as you immerse yourself in impactful projects across the business.

Do you have what we're looking for?

Achieved or predicted 2:1 in a commercially orientated discipline? (achieved 2024 or predicted 2025) Analytical thinking and problem solving - ability to critically assess complex situations, identify challenges, and develop innovative solutions. Strong data analysis skills to evaluate project needs, performance metrics, and business outcomes. Adaptability and flexibility with a willingness to embrace change and adapt to different roles, teams, and project types across multiple business areas. Ability to quickly learn new concepts, processes, and tools in a dynamic environment. Communication Skills - excellent verbal and written communication to effectively convey ideas, project updates, and solutions to diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders. Project Management - organisational and planning skills to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. A clear drive and passion for aviation, London Gatwick and our customers. Team working- you'll enjoy working in a team environment, sharing ideas, and collaborating with colleagues as well as other graduates

Selection Process

An online application that will involve a CV – closing date 7th November 2024  Online assessments to demonstrate your strengths and the necessary behaviours to be successful If successful a virtual 1st stage screening call An assessment centre with group and individual activities as well as a behaviour-based interview with the opportunity to meet managers and explore the airport.
