Your new company 
Hays are currently recruiting for an English Teaching Job at a high school in the Wigan area with a September start date, on a permanent basis. You will be joining a well-established English department and a school that is committed to maintaining the highest of standards, providing each child with a personalised journey to success. 
Your new role 
As mentioned, this job will be starting in September and you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across both KS3 and KS4. Your main responsibilities will include motivating students to learn, providing support in and out of the classroom, fostering student independence, and preparing students for their GCSEs. You will work closely with the teachers in the English department to develop resources for all abilities. You will also be required to keep track of students’ progress and provide a positive environment for them to progress. You will also be expected to report this back to parents.
What you\'ll need to succeed 
In order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running. This could be a perfect role for an NQT/ECT that is looking to gain some experience working within a high school environment.
