Bolney Wine Estate are seeking a Chef de Partie or Cafe Chef to join their busy and expanding team, the team is growing due to the opening of a new café and restaurant on site. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Head Chef or Sous Chef. This is a great opportunity to be part of an excellent kitchen team producing loved fresh food dishes and an opportunity to really contribute towards elevating the new Cafe.

As the team go through this exciting period of growth, it is important that the new Chef de Partie or Cafe Chef is adaptable and innovative as well as having a willingness to embrace change. We are looking for a well skilled, organised, and self-sufficient Chef de Partie or Cafe Chef who has some knowledge in working in Restaurants and Cafes.

Salary - Competitive

Working Days - Wednesday - Sunday

Hours – 8.30 – 5pm

(you may be requested to work some evenings for special events and functions. As the business grows then hours and days may change but this will be discussed and agreed in advance)

Requirements

  • Having a passion for hospitality and have experience being a Commis or Chef de Partie or Cafe Chef
  • A basic understanding of Larder, Dessert, Vegetable, Meat & Fish prep
  • Health and safety level 2 or willing to work towards
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organisational skills with an ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Work well with a team and independently
