A prominent firm is seeking an experienced Professional Indemnity Claims Handler to join a growing Financial Lines Team in Liverpool. This is a hybrid role, 3 days office, 2 days from home.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing claims across various Financial Lines products, with a particular focus on those arising from construction and contractor-related issues. You will maintain an efficient diary system to ensure timely follow-ups, and you'll provide essential claims information and reports to both the broking department and clients as needed. Handling complex claims in accordance with group procedures will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you'll be expected to acknowledge new claims, keep clients informed throughout the process, and strive for the best possible outcome in each case.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Professional Indemnity, including Directors & Officers, and/or Errors & Omissions claims, coupled with strong commercial awareness. You should be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, with excellent communication abilities. In addition, you will have strong organisational skills, a problem-solving mindset and be a competent user of various systems and software, including Acturis.
