The RoleWe are offering a fantastic opportunity for Psychology graduates to join a special school in Birmingham. This school specializes in supporting students with Autism, Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Learning Difficulties. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have a vital role in empowering students and helping them on their path to greater independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to children and young adults with educational, social, and sensory/additional needs.
- Work one-on-one and in small groups to make learning accessible, engaging, and enjoyable.
- Learn and implement a variety of teaching methods across age groups, including Early Years, Primary, Secondary, and Post-16.
Graduates from the following fields are encouraged to apply:
- Psychology
- Criminology
- Sports Science
- Sports Coaching
- Social Work
- Educational Studies
- Youth and Community Studies
- Or any other related discipline
- Gain valuable experience in educational support and student development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
