Role style="background: white; margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;"> Our in house maintenance team are looking for a Multi trade Carpenter with UPVC skills to work the team.

You will be assigned to a patch in Redbridge, Havering and Waltham Forest.

Our Multi traders are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment. You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device)

Our Multi trade/Carpenters are expected to carry out a range of tasks inclusive of internal and external door fitting, Splice repairs, General Locksmith, bathroom Sub Floors, Bath panels and framework kitchen repairs/refits and Other general Maintenance repairs. 

Ideally you will also be able to carry out internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs.

Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents we expect you to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first-time service. Limiting follow on’s and increasing satisfaction.

 Our in-house maintenance team core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.

We are looking for someone with:

Sound trade knowledge and experience Experience gained within a Maintenance, site and or Housing environment Excellent customer service Right first-time approach Good attitude to Health and Safety Wide range of Multi trade skills
