Position Overview:

The Bodyshop Fitter will assist with bodywork documentation, repairs, modifications, refurbishment, installation and maintenance of our temperature controlled assets and equipment. You will be based at Sutton in Ashfield, but you may be required to work at other client locations.

As the Bodyshop Fitter you will be responsible for:

  • Carry out authorised repairs to our fleet working from a job sheet to an agreed deadlines, this will include the use of a range of power and hand tools.
  • Carry out site joinery to include constructing studded walls, door frames, apertures etc too a required measurements and locations.
  • Cleaning units internally and externally, in preparation for painting or sanding.
  • Ensure all tooling and machinery is in a safe and working condition. Report any unsafe tools or machinery to your supervisor.
  • Co-operate fully with the operations manager to ensure equipment is made ready for rental in good time.
  • Cleaning tools ,de masking and replacing ancillary parts.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork in a timely and professional manner including stock usage.
  • Other duties and special projects as required.

The successful Bodyshop Fitter will hold:

  • Leaving Cert or Equivalent
  • Previous experience working with power tools or in a hands-on position
  • Valid UK driving License
