Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team to support our dynamic and thriving partner Secondary Schools located in Borehamwood. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality English education to students, fostering a love for the subject and inspiring intellectual curiosity. You will be able to support schools with Short-term cover, Long-term cover, or even permanent employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and school objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
