Are you passionate about supporting individual students to help them achieve their full potential? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Skegness, Lincolnshire.

Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Skegness, Lincolnshire
Type: Full-time, Temporary (with the potential for long-term placement)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to a student with additional learning needs.
  • Assist with daily classroom activities and tailor learning materials to the student's needs.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to implement and monitor personalized learning plans.
  • Support the student’s social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Encourage positive behavior and help the student overcome challenges in the classroom.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for the student.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a 1:1 capacity.
  • A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to working with children.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to the student's changing needs.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in supporting children with additional needs is desirable.
