Responsibilities:

  • Providecare for patients in hospitals residential care facilities orpatientshomes.
  • TypicalDuties :
  • Assisting patients withdaily activities.
  • Checking vitalsigns.
  • Supporting nursing staff asneeded.
  • Assisting with Daily LivingActivities:
    • Helppatients with tasks such as eating showering and using thetoilet.
    • Utilize equipment to move patientswhen necessary.
  • Homeand Room Maintenance:
    • Assist in tidying patients homes or rooms.
    • Ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Vital SignsMonitoring:
    • Takepatients vital signs including blood pressure andtemperature.
    • Record and report any significantchanges.
  • PatientInteraction and Reassurance:
    • Talk to patients provide emotional support and reassurethem.
    • Attend meetings with other healthcareprofessionals.
  • Collaboration with NursingStaff:
    • Assist nursesand other staff when needed.
    • Adhere toprofessional standards and protocols.
  • Reporting andCommunication:
    • Deliver reports to Case Managers.
    • Review any important changes in the patientscondition.

Qualifications andSkills: (One of the qualifications belowEnglish)

  • Level 2 First AidCertificate.
  • Level 1 CommunityHealth.
  • Level 3 Nurse Aid or Level 3 Healthand Social Care NVQ.
  • CareCertificate.
  • English proficiency to pass theHome Office eligibility.
  • The ability to handlemultiple tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Clearprecise and effective communication skills
  • Adaptable and quick to learn policies andprocedures.
  • Exceptional verbal and nonverbal(through gestures and body language/interpersonal) communicationskills

Experience:

  • Workexperience in the Healthcare sector is essential.
