We arecurrently looking for a Prep Technician to come and join our family runbusiness in Morley.

What weoffer:

Acompetitive salary dependent on experience. Manufacturer training for product knowledge to give you the technical skills you need tobe working for part of a franchise. 30days annual leave inclusive of 8 bank holidays. Discountfor servicing and repairs on your family and friend’s cars. Aworkplace pension scheme. Ifyou have worked in retail previously, you will be glad to know we close EasterSunday, Christmas day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

About You

Your dutieswill depend upon your experience and training but as a skilled Technician, youwill be able to undertake both minor and major mechanical faults (includingengine repairs) and return vehicles back to manufacturer specification andstandards.

We arewelcoming applications from Technicians who are NVQ level 3 trained orequivalent. Experience working within a busy volume franchised dealerenvironment is an advantage but not crucial if you currently work at anindependent garage/dealer. If you have knowledge of the Skoda/VW brand thatwould be fantastic but not essential.

You willrequire a Full UK drivers’ license and have your own tools.

What willyou need to succeed in the role:

Drive, passion and enthusiasm to succeed. Demonstrate capability and confidence in using equipment within the workshop safely. At least NVQ level 3 trained with work experience in a franchised dealer or independent garage. MOT Tester preferred. Experience in new car prep.
