We are recruiting for anexperienced Landscaping Estimator on behalf of aCity Construction Specialist based near Sloughthat offer a full package service to their commercial clientbase. On offer is a salary of upto 55000 a year (negotiable based on experience)flexibility for office based or hybrid working (2 days in office 3days at home) and the opportunity to join anawardwinning hard and soft landscapingcontractor in what is an exciting period ofgrowth for them.

Working aspart of a close working team the Estimator will prepare and submitboth hard and soft landscaping tenders that range in value from150k to 10 Million.

This willinclude:

  • Takingallocated enquiries and being responsible for completing take offsand quotation requests and for producing detailed soft and hardlandscaping bills ofquantities.
  • Producingtender documents for pricing purposes which reflect therequirements of the client in accordance withspecifications.
  • Identifyingareas of risk during the tender process and presenting them to thesenior managementteam.
  • Attendingsite visits and tendermeetings.
  • Developingand nurturing strong and professional relationships with existingand new clients including liaising with them for updates on bidsubmissions.


Requirements

Youwillneed:

  • Toeither have direct landscape sector estimating experience or beeducated to Degree/OND/HND or similar in construction ground worksand/or quantitysurveying.
  • Tobe experienced in the preparation and submission of landscaperelatedtenders.
  • Tobe proficient in using Microsoft Office as well as Take Off andEstimating softwarepackages.
  • Tobe meticulous in your approach to work driven motivated andexperienced at managing both current estimating workload andexisting and concurrently runningprojects.
  • Yourdrivinglicence.

To either have direct landscape sector estimating experience or beeducated to Degree/OND/HND or similar in construction, ground worksand/or quantity surveying. To be experienced in the preparation andsubmission of landscape related tenders. To be proficient in usingMicrosoft Office as well as Take Off and Estimating softwarepackages. To be meticulous in your approach to work, driven,motivated and experienced at managing both current estimatingworkload and existing and concurrently runningprojects.
