Brief Description

As Part of the M&E team you will be responsible for maintaining and fault finding on a wide variety of assets, from tunnel fire hydrant systems to testing and inspecting on lighting and distribution systems.

The role

About the role (External)

The person

​​​​​​​So, who are we looking for? If you can answer ‘yes' to the following questions, then we look forward to receiving your application.

Do you have:

·Hold either an NVQ Level 3 and City & Guilds, or an ONC/HNC

·Have several years of experience working in either maintenance or installation.

·Experience of organising and controlling the safe and efficient delivery of work

·Experience developing others

·Have a full driving licence, to drive vehicles as required by the business?

·Be willing to learn new skills and maintain a wide range of mechanical and electrical assets in addition, some more specialised equipment

·Have completed an approved apprenticeship in either Electrical engineering or Mechanical engineering

·Possess at least five years' post apprenticeship experience (or equivalent) with knowledge of some or all of the following:

ELECTRICAL:

·Uninterruptable power supplies

·Building services

·Pumps and fans

·HVAC systems

·Electrical distribution

·HV switching

MECHANICAL

·Fire hydrant/firefighting systems

·Pump stations and drainage

·Pumps and valves
