About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced INSIS FADAT SME (Subject Matter Expert) to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Life & Protection Insurance operations. With at least 10 years of domain knowledge on Life Protection Platform. You will actively participate in the entire project lifecycle, from planning and estimation to execution and delivery, ensuring successful outcomes aligned with business objectives. Collaborating with subject matter experts from all relevant areas of the business to ensure that the proposition under development is built and delivered in a way that truly meets customer needs, supporting the desired personalisation and flexibility in an efficient and cost effective way.

Works with senior leadership and Identifies opportunities to enhance assets that deliver operational efficiencies to the business and leads its implementation, Understands issues facing the business that would affect digital assets/ core systems and peripherals and develop strategic solutions for implementation

As an insurance specialist, you are familiar with the requirements, internal procedures and processes at insurance companies and have extensive expertise in life & protection. With this knowledge, you will be the bridge between the Buisness & technical requirements of our customers .

Responsibilities:

• Creates the platform vision and roadmap to support the business strategies
• Complete feasibility work on new product development ideas constructing required business cases and overall recommendations on whether to proceed into delivery.
• Deeply understand business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications for the development team.
• Actively participate in backlog grooming sessions, prioritizing work items based on business impact and feasibility.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, product experts, and external service providers to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as a triage point, resolving technical discrepancies and ensuring smooth collaboration between different teams.
• Participate in value realization workshops, estimating project effort and budgeting accurately.
• Document processes, best practices, and lessons learned to ensure knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Life & Protection Insurance domain, deep understanding of both the advised and non-advised UK Life market is required.
• Proven expertise in INSIS Fadata and strong understanding of Life & Protection insurance industry best practices and regulations.
• A self-starter, with a growth mindset, who is comfortable thinking creatively to work around project delivery obstacles and challenges to meet customer and business needs.
• Comfortable using data, research and customer and adviser feedback to balance competing demands to arrive at an optimal consensus
