We have Storeperson positions available on both day and afternoon shift based at our new National Distribution Centre in Moorabbin for a motivated person with at least 3 years warehouse experience. 

 

Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager, you have the opportunity to learn and grow in our high performing team environment with a proactive approach to safety, quality and customer service.

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Receipting, unloading, storing and designating stock items
  • Ensuring customer orders are picked and packed with high accuracy
  • Maintaining accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities
  • Carrying out quality control checks on picked items, including counting and recording finished goods stock figures
  • Submitting all documents that are related to the outgoing of goods
  • Undertaking stock take activities, including daily variance checks and end of period stock take
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse, including keeping work areas clean and tidy

 

About You

 

  • Current forklift license required
  • Experience in picking, packing and dispatch
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload
  • RF Scanner experience
  • High reach and counter balance experience
  • A commitment to providing high-quality customer service for internal and external customers
  • A motivated, organized and responsible approach to their work, with a keen eye for safety
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen and take direction
  • Follow all health and safety procedure and regulations
  • Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
