Job Description

Are you a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher seeking a new opportunity in Southend? We are looking for a skilled educator to join our team and inspire students with the beauty of mathematics.Key

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective math lessons that cater to students' individual needs.
  • Foster a love for math by creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the math curriculum and share best practices.
  • Encourage students to develop problem-solving skills and a strong mathematical foundation.

Essential Criteria

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
  • Experience teaching math at the secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience teaching math at GCSE and A-Level.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in mathematics.
  • Additional qualifications in math education or related fields.
