Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager as part of team to ensure that our Finance department is working to its utmost efficiency.

Providing a professional technical, financial and business management service which supports both the Finance Department and business stakeholders.

 

About The Role

Key duties and responsibilities.

·         Assist Finance Manager in Preparation of monthly management accounts

·         Assist AP supervisor with invoices and credit notes

·         Variance Analysis Tracking

·         Maintain fixed asset register

·         Communicating with suppliers including reconciliation of account

·         Update computerised system

·         Completion of national statistic requests.

·         Assist in completion of statutory returns

·         Processing employee expenses and company credit cards

·         Budget variance analysis

·         Manage disputed invoices process

·         Input Timesheets onto ERP System.

·         As part of the Accounting team, to assist with the monthly financial statement close process within the required timetables set.

·         Assisting with the production of statements of financial position and income statements, including liaison with outsourced service providers as necessary.

·         Other adhoc duties.

Desired Criteria

  • ERP experience
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry.

Required Criteria

  • Studying towards Accountancy related Degree
  • Sound Knowledge of MS packages, especially excel
  • Good attention to detail & ability to process information accurately
  • Ability to work well under pressure & work to tight deadlines
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills and should be able to attend relevant meeting/liaise with senior management when required
