Behaviour Support Assistant 

This specialist school based in Leyland for boys are looking for behaviour support assistants to provide quality support to its pupils.

As a Support Worker your role will be to provide support for the pupil in your care with both their educational and holistic development. Each pupil will have an ECH Plan, your role is to ensure this is adhered to, to provide the highest quality care possible for the pupil. Your general role is to ensure the pupils needs are met however you will be required to support the class teacher with setting up lessons and ensuring the classroom environment is safe and pupils are fully supported.

Key Information:

  • Experience in supporting children or adults, not necessarily in an educational setting.
  • Full time role, Monday to Friday (8.30-3.30pm).
  • PAYE contract.
  • Primary provision.
  • Leyland based, PR25.
  • £12.90+ based on additional duties and experience. 

Key Duties:

  • Participate in the planning and evaluation of learning activities.
  • Provide meaningful feedback on pupils progress.
  • Support the teacher in monitoring, assesing and recording pupils progress.
  • Promote pupils cognitve, social, emotional and behavioural development.
