HSE Advisor

Due to rapid growth within the business weare currently recruiting for a HSE Advisor to join our vibrant anddynamic team At OCU Opals (Part of the OCU Group of companies) wedesign build manage and maintain vital communicationsinfrastructure for everyday use for a betterconnected world. Wework with major network operators technology vendors andengineering companies to create the next generation ofcommunication networks.

Duties of the HSEAdvisor:

• • Workwith Operational teams to help deliver high quality projects to ourclients.
  • Implement policies procedures and Safeworking practices on our site.
  • Carry outregular Office Depot and Site Audits andInspections.
  • Deliver Inductions to new teamsand personnel.
  • Support the management inDevelopment and distribution of Health Safety plans for standaloneand Framework projects.
  • Provide advice andguidance to all staff.
  • Undertake Riskassessments and review subcontractordocumentation.
  • Monitor and review trainingrequirements and allocate personal for training to be undertaken asrequired.
  • Undertake accident and investigateinvestigations.
  • Prepare H&S Reports andKPI statistics to senior management.
  • Preparingand delivering TBT to personnel asrequired
  • Drive the implementation of the HealthSafety and Environmental initiatives of theorganization.

Whatwe are lookingfor:

• Experience inCivil Engineering and Utilities would be beneficial but notessential.
• Nebosh General /Construction orsimilar.
• Member of IOSH or workingtoward.
• ITLiterate.
• Ability to influence positivebehaviours amongst allstakeholders.
